Give where it matters.

There are hundreds of competitive races in 2026. Most donors give to the loudest voices — the biggest names, the most emails, the safest bets. But those aren't always the races where your money or time actually moves the needle.

Tip the Scale Blue ranks every Senate and House race by how much your action can change the outcome — so you can skip the noise and go straight to where you're needed most.

How the score works

Every race gets a score from 0 to 1000. Higher means more worth acting on. The score combines eight signals:

  • ·How close the polls are — the biggest factor. A 2-point race scores far higher than a 12-point race.
  • ·Expert ratings — consensus of Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and Inside Elections.
  • ·Fundraising momentum — where the Republican is outspending the Democrat, and where Dem receipts are growing.
  • ·Chamber control proximity — how close Democrats are to winning the majority, so every seat that matters more scores higher.
  • ·Voting records — Progressive Punch scores for both candidates. Flipping a bad vote counts.
  • ·Endorsements — from Justice Democrats, Sunrise, Bold Progressives, Emily's List, and others.

Who made this

Built by a frustrated progressive who wanted a better answer to “where should I donate?”

No party affiliation. No PAC money. No ads. Just math applied to public data, updated automatically so the rankings reflect what's actually happening — not what was happening six months ago.
